Samsung has officially announced the arrival of the Galaxy S26 FE in Indonesia, rounding out the Galaxy S family lineup. Samsung Galaxy fans in Indonesia can now register for a reservation on this phone and unlock attractive benefits.
Smart Camera Features Built Around How Fans Actually Use Their Phones
Samsung has packed the Galaxy S26 FE with several smart photography features. According to Samsung’s internal data, users of the previous Galaxy Fan Edition generation most frequently used their phone for photos and video.
“We found that Galaxy S25 FE users most frequently took photos and recorded video using the front camera compared to other Galaxy S users, 53.8% for photos and 21.3% for video,” said Ilham Indrawan, MX Product Marketing Senior Manager at Samsung Electronics Indonesia, in a press release received by detikINET on Tuesday (September 1, 2026).
“They also made the most use of Photo Assist for editing photos. On the Galaxy S26 FE, we’ve now built in Horizontal Lock and My FanCam features to help capture every moment,” he added.
The My FanCam feature was first introduced on the Galaxy Z8 series. This feature lets the phone’s camera track a selected person and automatically keep them centered in the frame.
Meanwhile, the Super Steady Video with Horizontal Lock feature automatically keeps a video’s horizon line level, even when the phone is rotated a full 360 degrees.
These features can be used with the Galaxy S26 FE’s camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP front camera.
One UI 9 and Smarter AI Tools
The Galaxy S26 FE runs on One UI 9, equipped with a range of smart AI features. The Audio Eraser feature has been upgraded and can now remove background noise within third-party apps like YouTube, Netflix, and Instagram.
The Document Scan feature can also scan and tidy up documents with a single tap. Agentic AI capability enhances the Now Brief feature, which can now generate custom user cards, along with the Now Nudge feature, which delivers timely recommendations across various apps.
Display, Performance, and Battery
The Galaxy S26 FE is equipped with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display at FHD+ resolution. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and brightness of up to 1,900 nits.
Performance is powered by an Exynos 2500 chipset, paired with a 4,900mAh battery and 45W fast charging. This phone is set to receive Android OS updates for up to seven generations and security updates for up to seven years.

It’s not yet known when the Galaxy S26 FE will officially launch or how much it will cost in Indonesia. However, eager consumers can already secure a unit by making a reservation.
