Huawei has officially brought the FreeClip 2 S to Indonesia as its newest audio device. These wireless earbuds feature a clip-on, earring-style design claimed to be virtually unnoticeable when worn.
A Charging Case Inspired by Jewelry Boxes
The Huawei FreeClip 2 S comes with a new charging case design, shaped like a round pearl, with 20% more interior space. This TWS device is available in a single color: Deepsea Blue.
“This time, the design of the newest Huawei FreeClip 2 S comes with a case that resembles a jewelry box,” said Edy Supartono, Senior Retail Manager at Huawei Device Indonesia, during the launch of Huawei’s newest products in Jakarta on Friday (August 28, 2026).
Design Built for Comfort
The Huawei FreeClip 2 S features a C-bridge design prioritizing user comfort. This new design is made from a more flexible silicone material, 25% softer than the first-generation FreeClip.
Each FreeClip 2 S earbud weighs just 5.1 grams, making it nearly unnoticeable when worn. This earbud design was refined using data from 10,000 global ear samples to ensure comfort and stability.
Audio Performance
Audio performance relies on a 10.8mm dual-diaphragm driver, delivering 100% louder volume and improved low-frequency performance. This TWS device has a frequency response range of 20Hz to 20kHz.
The FreeClip 2 S supports Unlimited Spatial Audio, capable of dynamically tracking head movement. This TWS device can also automatically detect the left and right earbuds, so users don’t need to worry about whether they’ve placed each earbud correctly.
Call Quality and Noise Reduction
This device also supports three adaptive volume levels and adaptive sound enhancement to keep call audio clear even in noisy environments. Three microphones paired with a multi-channel DNN algorithm also help suppress ambient noise, keeping phone conversations clear.
Battery Life
Each FreeClip 2 S earbud is equipped with a 60mAh battery, claimed to provide up to 9 hours of music playback. The charging case houses a 537mAh battery, capable of extending playback time up to 38 hours.
Connectivity and Durability
The Huawei FreeClip 2 S can connect to Huawei, Android, and iOS devices using the Huawei Audio Connect app. An IP57 rating provides protection against dust and water, including sweat during workouts or light rain splashes.
Price and Availability in Indonesia
The Huawei FreeClip 2 S will be available in Indonesia starting August 31, priced at Rp 3,499,000, available through Huawei’s official sales channels, both online and offline. For purchases made during the promotional period through September 27, 2026, Huawei is offering additional benefits, including a one-year Lost Worry Free warranty and a custom clip-on earring set valued at Rp 299,000.
